Are you sure? I lived in London in 2002/03 and the Aussies certainly didn't tour when I was there. Perhaps 2001 or 2005?

Looks like Bird is really pressing a claim.

Nice to see Agar with two wickets

Rogers and Cowan opening the batting in the second dig. Given Boof has announced that ROgers and Watson will open is this an opportunity to confirm Cowan as the number three?

Nice century from Clarke and Hughes with 86 may now take the 5th spot in the ashes team. Agar takes another wicket as well, so developing nicely.

Based on what we have seen thus far in the tour match what is our likely Top 6?

              Rogers
              Watson
              Cowan
              Clarke
              Hughes
              Smith

Does Khawaja come in at 3 in place of Cowan?
Who will be keeping Haddin or Wade?

We'd be better off building a wall behind the stumps and using the 'automatic wicky' rule.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I think your top six looks about right. Unfortunately Haddin will be the wicket keeper.

I like Steve Smith as a batsman but his bowling craft is still miles off.

His technique will never be good enough for test cricket and certainly not in England with the swinging ball
