Celtic lose 2-0 to FC Shakter away from home. The pressure will certainly be on them in front of their home fans in the return leg at Celtic Park to qualify for the champions league.

I'm ambivalent at best about ECL this year. If we go out in straight sets at least it might force the club to reprioritise our ambitions and try and win something rather than just finish in a respectable place in every completion we enter. That's why I wouldn't have minded not qualifying for Europe last season except for the fact it was Spurs we tipped out. If it had been any other club but Tottenham. Or Liverpool.

Fenerbahce have been given permission to play while their match fixing charges are heard. Will be interesting if they win and then get banned
