Nadal and Azarenka claim titles in their finals tournament before US Open.

The last grand slam of the year to begin in a few hours time. Who does everyone think will win both in the mens and womens. How do people see Hewitt and Tomic going in this tournament.

Tomic comes from 2 sets to 1 down to win in 5 and advance to the second round. Nadal looking strong with a straight sets victory in his opening match.

I don't know how she won the US Open. That must of been the greatest fluke.

Harsh call ED, but an understandable call.

For what ever reason Stosur certainly struggles mentally and now all her oppenents know this and if they stick with her or put her under pressure they are always a chance to knock her off.

Funnily enough the oponent Stosur beat to win the US open was Serina Williams who mentally lost the plot that day and Stosur held her nerve.

For what ever reason Stosur certainly struggles mentally and now all her oppenents know this and if they stick with her or put her under pressure they are always a chance to knock her off.

Funnily enough the oponent Stosur beat to win the US open was Serina Williams who mentally lost the plot that day and Stosur held her nerve.

I remember being very confident that Stosur would beat Williams that day. She was such an underdog that she had nothing to lose.

She always seems to find a way to lose when she is expected to win.

2 or 3 weeks ago she won a tournament beating Azarenka but she just blows it when she comes up against an unranked opponent.

Amazing effort by Hewitt. Over the last year or so, Hewitt has really struggled to come up for the next match - not this time though.
