With Holger Osieck gone assistant Aurelio Vidmar will be taking over temporarily until we find a new manager. Who is the best man for the job. Do we go with another foreign manager or go for a local coach.

Re: New Australia Manager
This cup is a write off as it is. We keep playing guys in lesser leagues and not first team players we are doomed for longer. Time is right to blood players and a local coach. We lose either way.
More worried about the Asian cup here soon after that.Comment

We certainly need to fix our defence that's for sure. Conceding 6 goals in two international friendlies in a row is just not good enough."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

We are just not good at the moment. Hopefully by the time the 2018 World Cup rolls around will be a competitive team one that fights."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment

Re: New Australia Manager
I would rather a BMac who will give us a crack and rebuild us, if Guus is prepared to do a couple of campaigns them he is the best choice.
If not lets get someone who will commit and rebuild the team. It's better to die on our feet than live on our knees.Comment

Re: New Australia Manager
When Guus left he told the FFA to use the following Asian cup (2007) to introduce young players. The FFA ignored his advice and asked Pim to win the cup. The FFA are our main problem.Comment

Australia 3-0 Canada. Good to get a win but it was against a much weaker opposition in the Canadians. Good start for temporary manager Aurelio Vidmar."Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"Comment
