Wins against Villa and WHam are hitting form? Still 6 or 7 points off 4th.

Certainly playing a lot better. As I've said ad-nauseum , it's like filling Bradman's shoes.

Agree RM. We have certainly picked up. Now we really need to beat the top sides like Liverpool, Chelsea and Man. City. The Arsenal win was a great scalp for us. Still a long way to go in the season so you never know what will happen. Teams can easily comeback and drop off.

He's just not up to it. He's tactically weak, playing a slow holding game that doesn't let the players express themselves which worked fine at Everton with limited options, but wont work at Man U because its not a style of football that wins things.

Man U lost today and Rooney (their best forward) played a deep holding role for much of the 2nd half....why? Spurs loved that, because he was out of the danger zone. Man U have made a massive mistake appointing him and it will cost them a place in the Champ's League this year, unless they drastically make changes to the way they play and some of their personnel.

They need a quality midfielder - Modric, Fabregas, Alonso (or players of that ilk) should all be on their shopping list. They have never replaced Paul Scholes.

              Everton doing better without him.

Cant believe they didn't go after Klopp to replace Fergie.

                  Re: David Moyes

Funny after a few wins posters went quiet on here about Moyes.
My view is that he'll get time and if he doesn't make the grade, he'll be fired.
                  Simple.
The midfield needs strengthening, and even if C/L isn't achieved he won't be fired .
The clubs on record saying they can survive not playing C/L this season.

He needs half dozen top line players, but they're going to be harder to get without ECL football.

I reckon Rooney for Mata would still be on the table.

Do you think United will cash in if he hasnt extended his contract by the summer?

I think this is a good read describing some of the problems.
