Can't wait for the Slam to start, giving us some decent summer sport to watch in Jan(T20 is god awful, and so are the Heart).

Tomic v Rafa is going to be a cracker.

Hewitt looks in good knick and should play a few rounds.

Love to see the Fed win it for one last time, but I can't see it happening. The Joker, Murray or Rafa should win it.

Hopefully not Murray. Cannot warm to him.

Tsonga looks leaner and fitter than previous years, could surprise with his big game and increased fitness.

Tough draws for many of the Australians. There might not be many that get through the first round

I reckon playing him first up is the best chance for him to get Rafa.

It was only a couple of years ago that I was watching Nick Kyrgios in the Boys' draw. Looked ok back then, will be watching his career with great interest.

I think this draw needs to be Tomic's reminder that he needs to work hard and increase his ranking if he wants to guarantee longevity in Grand Slams.

As for beating Rafa himself, he probably would have had to do it eventually, might as well have a crack first up.

He's never been the most popular bloke of all time but geez I'd love to see Lleyton knock a few over. Can't remember him coming into an Aus Open in as good form as he is at the moment for a long time.

Great win in 5 sets by Matthew Ebden defeating Nicolas Mahut. He advances to the 2nd round.

Young Jordan Thompson claims the first 2 sets against 22nd seed Jerzy Janowicz. Janowicz Claimed the 3rd and looks on top currently in the 4th. Not sure Thompson can do it but if he gets up it will be massive for him in his first grand slam.

Hewitt battling in a 5th set against Seppi. Tomic up next against Nadal. I'm tipping Nadal in straight sets.

Tomic is pea-hearted. Stick to driving above the speed limit and copping lap dances Bernie, that's where you're a viking.

The tennis crowd is fickle (and worse, sometimes).

One year they boo a guy for pulling out injured in the first round. The next they'll be on his bandwagon when he makes the round of 16.

The crowd year in year out is the most annoying thing about the coverage.
                            TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

The crowed, don't even go there! How can they boo somebody who is injured. Then again Tomic has made a bad rep but he is slowly screwing his head on. key word slowly.

Anyway hope Federer wins it this year or at least want to see Tsonga in the finals. We know that won't happen though
