Went across to Adelaide for the game and it needed it. Was a slow day in the hot sun

With the second T20 on tonight and no talk of the first does anyone really care? Will anyone be watching?

I'll be watching from the MCC, never been in there before so looking forward to it. If it's boring I'll retire to the bar.

I don't watch a lot of T20 cricket but from what I saw tonight we would be well pleased with our bowling stocks. Hazlewood and Coultner-Nile add depth to our pace bowling stocks and I thought Starc bowled very well. Muirhead will get better for these type of experiences.

Gee our fielding was sharp despite a few errors.

Coulter-Nile looks better than I thought, gets the ball hooping out when he pitches full enough which is a terrific weapon

We have a heap of depth with our pace bowlers at the moment and I agree that Coulter-Nile looks like a great prospect. He's done better than I expected.

How much of an effect do you think its having on our batting depth? Perhaps the young talent is around but they have struggled to get a foothold in the last few years simply because the bowlers going around are so high class. There isn't a state that doesnt have at least one and most have two or three quicks who could be called up to the test side and not look out of place

I'm not so sure it's impacting our batting depth. I think the focus on the shorter forms of the game is the biggest impact to our batting stocks.

We really need two have a North South type game so that all the young talented players that have been missing out on Shield Cricket can apply themselves.

I quite like the look of Muirhead. Not afraid to give it a bit of flight and has a devastating top spinner that he bowls really flat and full.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Just started watching the final T20. Once again we are looking strong. I feel that you really cant take T20 seriously. Australia Cricket fans are now focusing on the big tour of South Africa now.

Still are 50,000 at the ground which is a terrific result

Great batting from George Bailey in that last over. 195 is a very healthy total. England with the pressure requiring 196 to win.

Did that bring the total crowd to over one million for the summer?
