    NRL season

What a start by the Melbourne storm.
The best comeback at Brookvale in history by all accounts.
Won in golden point time. Great character and wonderful culture, and they don't get enough love in this town IMHO.
Didn't see the game unfortunately(they always play in the viewer unfriendly time)
    Sounds familiar!!
Reckon I know every Player from the Friday night Bronco side.

Channel 9 reporting young McKinnon is a quadriplegic.

If true, that's horrific for everyone, not least of which him. So terribly sad.

So literally pissing into your own mouth in the urinal at a night club, and photographing it is not ok? Or was it that the photo went viral?

          My bad, I knew I should've linked it, from news.com.au :

The lewd picture has surfaced just one day after Carney starred in Cronulla’s epic comeback against Brisbane on Friday night. Source: News Corp Australia

TODD Carney has been sacked after a shocking lewd picture of the NRL player went viral on social media overnight.
The image allegedly shows Carney in the toilets of Sutherland Shire nightclub Northies urinating into his own mouth, an act also known as ‘bubbling’.

Cronulla Board members decided this afternoon to terminate his $650,000-a-year contract effective immediately, despite having three years remaining, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Sharks CEO Steve Noyce has confirmed that disgraced star Todd Carney has been sacked from the club, Channel Nine reports.

            WTF.

Bubbling they have a term for this, as in other people actually do it?

            What a dickhead.
            The curse is dead.

I can't remember to be honest. I've been in 'Bubbling Anonymous' for too many years so my memory is fading, our motto is 'sink piss, don't drink piss'. But if they have a name for it, they probably have a James Halliday type (points) critic, so I guess it all depends how long he'd been drinking, whether it was the seal breaker or initial burst or even mid stream. Maybe he an be a piss critic for the $650,000 contract he pissed away?

I hope this happens for us. Grown men in tears whilst still going. What a last 9 minutes.

Must be sweet. If ever a supporter base deserves a flag it's the Rabbitohs. Like us they lost their club and only got it back after they missed a couple of seasons.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Have you ever seen anything like what Sam Burgess put himself through? Breaks a facial bone (still not sure if it's a cheekbone or eye socket), plays a full 80 minutes (extraordinary for a bloke his size) and was by a fair margin the best player on the ground, with his brother probably second in the running.

Extraordinary. He'll be a massive loss to the code.

Glory, Glory to South Sydney. That's now gotta be up there with my favourite club songs now.

Just looked at the stats from the game.

Burgess carried the ball for 220 metres. Which was second only to Inglis with 240. Those are ridiculous numbers. Add in 35 tackles and 21 hit ups and that's a ridiculously good game.
