Match Fixing in English County Cricket

Former NZ international cricketer Lou Vincent and Pakistany Naved charges with match fixing in the UK County leagues, 20/20's.

Do they not think anti/corruption investigator's can access betting trends???

I'm more concerned with them turning over Chris Cairns for his work in the ICL which looks imminent. It's such a big blow to the sport when the stars are involved

Lou Vincent could have been a Star if he wasn't such a lazy bastard.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I remember he took Mcgrath to the cleaners in a One Dayer. Had a lot of time with the bat, lovely through the offside

Lot like a few top order players they've had over the years.
Pretty good early then got found out.
Cricket's murkier and murkier by the day, and wouldn't think anybody would be shocked by what's going on.
So much meaningless cricket going on that nobody notices.

Has anyone read: Bookie, Gambler, Fixer, Spy? It's on my list but haven't got to it yet. Apparently the allegations are huge

Speaking of County cricket if anyone is interested commentary is available online on the Tunein app (free to download) via the BBC 5 live sports extra programme. Matches are usually played from 8pm midweek.

Remember seeing Middlesex play Hampshire in 97.
Gotta say played in a very gentile atmosphere( compared to anywhere else)
Overseas players got their own car and some good coin.

It's Yorkshire and Lancashire in a very entertaining Roses match that one team and then the other is on top of.

Strange occurrence just after lunch. The Yorkshire batsman Gale was given out caught behind, had a whinge to the umpire Peter Willey as he passed him on the way back to the sheds, Willey checked with Ian Gould the square leg umpire and changed his decision. Who said that you can complain as much as you like but umpires never change their mind?

Bollocks. They've gone to Murray's match at the French Open.
