Starc has swung it but missed his lengths. Johnson was very good in his first spell, form is still as good as ever. They are currently 1/32 in the 9th over

Currently playing South Africa, Hughes is on 20 off 21 and looks in the most sensational form. Everything into the middle of the blade.

7 minutes to see if Smith took a catch everybody agreed was a catch. I'm happy to take the charge with the greatest respect for EJ Smiths contribution to our place, a bloody joke. It's taking any emotion and feel out of the game, especially when everyone agrees. Now I'm going to miss footy even more if this is what summer has for me...

Australia made 282 with Hughes and Marsh each getting 80 odd.

          SA currently 5/109

Just watched highlights of Marsh's knock, the guy has so much talent it's scary. Could very well be the next Matthew Hayden with the bat.

Where do you see him batting? I think he came in at 5 last night (from memory)

I like him up the order but unless you're Kallis I don't think a genuine all-rounder can sustain batting in the top 4. My only real problem is that he suffers a bit from the same problem as Watson in that his front foot plonks halfway down the track and says 'hit me' to any moving ball. Matthew Hayden and to an extent Ricky Ponting (early in his innings) were susceptible to the same thing and managed to make half decent careers anyway, being a left hander obviously helped protect Hayden from LBW but the technical issue was there.

Clarke is in serious doubt for Pakistan after re-injuring his hamstring against Zimbabwe. Why was he ever played? I'm not a big a critic on CA as some but that was the most ridiculous decision in recent memory

                        Score please?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Give up I reckon. North getting smashed is much better watching.
