There are 13 Aussies who can be bought as part of each franchise's allocation up to $US5 million.

So no Clarke, Clark, Hopes, Hogg Hodge or MacGill. Johnson and Haddin ruled themselves out today of this league to focus on international duties.

Looking at the lists for reserved prices in the paper this morning, it's certainly going to be a big earner for a lot of guys.

Symond 2nd most expensive player at 1.35 mil. Dohni most expensive as the young idolized keeper will make the most money.

No-one paid more than the 450,000 reserved price for Warnie

Anyone else find it wierd that David Hussey ($740,000) went for more than Ricky Ponting ($436,000) and nearly twice as much as his brother. I can only think it's because he'll be available for more games but seems bizarre.

Was surprised that Cam White went for so little, he also is a seriously good 20/20 player.

Yeah don't forget it's 20/20. Plus Im sure his smashing 100 yesterday did him no harm. That was a beautiful innings to watch.

It's baffling that he doesn't play for Australia.

Nobody's going to rock up to see David Hussey play, but what self-respectig I ndian cricket supporter doesn't want to boo Ricky Ponting.

The Aussies were cheap because they might not play. Clever by Symonds to say he won't go to Pakistan. Even if he decides to go to Pakistan he gets a rather nice paypacket.

Don't forget the icon players get payed a percentage on top of what the highest paid player in the side gets. So for blokes like Sachin and Rhaul they'll be making some very nice money.
