Great game last night. Also wonderful to see the A league pay tribute to Phil Hughes. The clapping at the 63rd minute was amazing. Well done.

Well deserved win by melbourne City ( pains me to say it)
Really have to get themselves up for games other than Victory.
Had a cup final feel about the win.
Victory have been treading water for a few weeks, and really got what they deserved tonight

            Terrible flat performance by Victory.
They thought Newcastle were going to just roll over .
There's about 4 teams who could win this league.
Funny how Sydney broke the cap in 05/06 and didn't cop the same punishment .

Anyone else see Galekovics own goal yesterday? Top notch A-League blooper from Australias third choice keeper.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Different circumstances. Perth aren't from Sydney. They'd have handed out the same penalty to Adelaide or Wellington or Melborne. Any club really. Except Sydney, obviously.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Sorry TD I had a chuckle at this.

                      That's an unfair generalisation.

There's no waw WSW would get looked after like that

                        Victory take the premiers plate
Painful listening to the anti- Melbourne commentary
Almost makes PHIL Gould sound like a Melbourne Storm devotee
