Powerful stuff. For someone who hasn't really followed the A-League I was not aware of the level of passion this game is generating.

I had a mate who made a quip about Asada and the bombers( wasn't offensive, racial, religious, homophobic or anything else) yet our group was approached by a security officer apparently we'd made a racial slur .
Just typical of the humourless sterile dobbing nanny state environment AFL has become.
Kids and adults want to enjoy their AFL experience and not be treated like we're living in the Soviet Union

A game away from being one of the greatest football(all codes) teams this country's produced too.

I worked at the game on Saturday night. There were 16 flares let off inside the ground. 14 of them by Victory supporters, all in the Active area. Thats 16 too many. One smoke flare was thrown across out of the active area into the general admission seats, and landed at the feet of a young family , with a 7 and 5 year old. The kids freaked out, naturally enough.

The stadium operators didn't do us any favours either. There was no checking of tickets into the active supporters area so it was massively overcrowded and downright dangerous.

Eliminate these problems and you've got an almost perfect atmosphere.
Yeah thats one thing with the North End that is really frustrating, they just cant let go of the flares.

Actually in Adelaide last weekend a bloke just in front of me let off some fireworks. Nuts. Looked quite cool but in a crowded environment it doesnt take much to go wrong.

Yea I agree love that stuff, but when it finishes and the screen splits to smaller screens press on the bottom right one, can't beat that.

I don't get distracted by crowd noise when I'm watching football.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Must never have sat next to SS at a game.
