    Spring Racing Carnival 2014

    Not a big racing fan but that time of year and week is coming up with Derby tomorrow and then the big one on Tuesday. Have any woofers gone to the races the last few weeks. Ill probably be at a pub tomorrow afternoon watching it on the telly

      Yep I have been to the Caulfield Cup and the Cox Plate. Going to the Derby tomorrow and will go to Stakes day, but not Cup or Oaks. Really enjoy this time of year in Melbourne, but my wallet doesn't!!!

      Have fun at the pub Eastie, enjoy the fact you won't be lining up for an hour for every beer like I will be!

          Thanks MCL I will. You have a great day out. Will probably depend on the weather if I go out to the pub or not but they usually exaggerate the weather quite a bit on the news eg: they say a downpour of rain when in reality there won't be that the much.

              Went to the pub to watch the Victorian Derby. I'm not a betting man but did any woofers who did put a bet on win anything.

                          Very sad to hear.

                          I tipped horse 12 which finished 3rd to win the Cup.

                              A classic example of why this "sport" needs to be policed more. Animal welfare is not even considered in situations like this.
