Good start What would be a good score for us to defend.

Only caught the end of yesterday's match but I'd have Hazlewood and Sayers as the top two reserve quicks in the country for the first test. The speed gun doesn't do Hazlewood justice, if there is any green at the GABBA he'll do what Pattinson did to the Indians a few summers ago

Good win. Shame to lose Clarke again though.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Watson's technical adjustments obviously don't work, he needs to readjust his mindset and simply not play the full straight ball any squarer than mid on. It may cut out one of his big scoring areas with that onside flick through midwicket but I can't remember any player getting out playing across the line more than Watson. Tendulkar did it with the cover-drive for a while, Watson needs to do the same.

Now Smith goes with a top edged pull, we're 4/34 and up the proverbial creek.

4/34. That's not great. Need to get a partnership going.

South Africa get the runs 7 wickets down. Hazelwood was exceptional with 5/30. I'm a huge fan, I think he'll be the best of Cummins/Pattinson/Starc

RSA only won by 3 wickets but it looked like a thumping.
