    Dhoni Quits Test Cricket Immediately

Just announced Dhoni has quit test cricket, with immediate effect. That makes India a better team instantly if Ill thought out field placing and bowling strategies are rectified. Some of his dismissals were beyond a bad joke this series. His career has great highlights, but I have a nagging thought he didn't achieve what he could have as a player, and as a captain the less said the better. But well done to him and I'm sure $2m a year in the IPL will continue for a bit yet.

If Kohli gets the promotion then the SCG might not be big enough for his head.

I heard some speculation that things weren't right with Dhoni and the board/players a few days back and dismissed it as rubbish.

Too good of a cricketer not to be playing at the top level.

That's a huge news. Can't wait to find out the story behind the story.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Maybe Kholi threatened to have his Dad fire Dhoni's Dad unless he stood down so he could be captain?

This is a bit of a strange one, that probably has a bit to do with the dressing room. If the dressing room is revolting then it's probably because Dhoni is substandard as a captain and a whole bunch of upstarts think they can do better.

I actually think Kholi will become one of the best players of all time, even though he is a shit.
          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I am reminded of an old saying "Be careful what you wish for because you may get it."

Kohli as captain could be quite toxic, if his behaviour as a player is a guide.

That's a big call. He's had an excellent series so far, but I saw it posted somewhere that in his previous 30 completed innings he'd made almost the exact same amount of runs at the same average add Brad Haddin. That's including Haddin's terrible 2014 calendar year.
