    World Cup Nearest the Pin

    There's always a fair bit of excitement when the World Cup rolls around and with 9 days to go, I'm starting to get pumped. It's time to put that cricketing knowledge on the line and do battle for the title of guru with some time capsule predictions, so come the crowning of the champs at the MCG in about a month and a half after 44 games in 49 days who will be:

    1. Champions and runners up?
    2. Leading run scorer and how many?
    3. Leading wicket taker and how many?
    4. Highest individual innings and by whom?
    5. Best bowling figures and by whom?
    6. Most runs out of Kohli, Smith and Williamson?
    7. Will Clarke survive the tournament (injury or otherwise)?
    8. The strangest headline?
    9. The minnow nation who impresses?
    10. The large nation who flops?
    11. The attendance at the final will be?
    12. The U/23 player to impress most is?
    13. What will Afridi bite?
    14. What will KP tweet?
    15. Which C-grade female celebrity will Warnie be rumoured to have shacked up with?

    Each correct answer worth one point, any qualms/challenges/grey areas/disputes/controversies or debates over correct answers will be decided by popular consensus...
