O'Brien is trash. The Hawks won the trade by getting 3 years of Lake, not by what will be 10 years of "development" from O'Brien.

At least he hasn't been on two lists and delisted. Nothing about any of this trade/draft selection is aging well.

Except my original take on it. One more for the good guys.

Adams was heavily criticised for his game yesterday, zoned miles away from Riewoldt and it was noted by many.

                  Jack cut him to pieces.

Interesting comparison Trading Adams and picking up Gardner . Not sure which has been better trade . Only hindsight will tell us midway though next Season. Adams was injured until r15 this season and has played 8 games in 2019, so we looked ahead at that stage .

Riewoldt is a horrible match up for Adams. He’s not a close checking defender, he needs to have the freedom to peel off and intercept. I dare say he won’t be getting that match up in 12 days.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Yep. Cut our losses and move on. Looks a ok/good vfl player though.

Gardner wasn’t a trade he was a fill in as a forward I don’t see how in anyway they are connected or compared.
                          Gardner was due to retirements.
Will be interesting to see if we keep him on though, I wouldn’t.

Gardner is expected back for VFL finals. His performance in those games may determine if we retain as a rookie.

Nathan Hrovat's time at Arden St isn't over yet, with the 25-year-old accepting a new role with the club.

Nathan Hrovat to take on a role as a Football operations Coordinator and AFLW Leadership consultant with North.
