Very good list with the right sort of age and experience profile. On their home ground as well as playing a team many tipped not to win a game for the season.
If they don't make the finals this year they should be very disappointed.

Maybe the list is not as good as we thought.
FFC: Established 1883
Premierships: AFL 1954, 2016 VFA - 1898,99,1900, 1908, 1913, 1919-20, 1923-24, VFL: 2014, 2016 . Champions of Victoria 1924. AFLW - 2018.
It's a very good list with a heap of first round draft selections plus QLD and NT zone access to players like Charlie Dixon and Steven May.
10 wins last year and finals expectations for this year. We shouldn't be cutting them any slack.

Not including tonight, they have won three games of the last 14

Agree. Thought he was past his use by date. They need a coach with fresh ideas.
They have the ultimate list but are playing hopelessly outdated football. Let's hope Leon Cameron at GWS is the same. We need bad coaches at the expansion clubs.

So they are a basket case? Injuries hit them hard last year but the list is too deep and talented in my opinion for them not to figure in finals discussions this year. Many footy experts tipped them to get around 12 wins this season which is just two more than last year.
Sounds reasonable to me.

I was discussing the suns with my dad at half time, he doesnt think they have a hard enough edge and enough older heads.
Interesting thoughts, especially considering tonights game so far.
I agree. They are a very neat, skillful, pretty, outside kind of team. Where are their inside animals? Scott Clayton has not recruited a balanced list - not for the first time either.
GWS list management has been more balanced IMO. And far less reliant on one superstar.
