    Re: Round 3 Discussion

I went along last night and it was a bit of a scrappy game but interesting to see how both sides set up the field. Port didn't appear to play very well (or, at least as well as I think they're capable of) and didn't look to have their structures right at times transitioning from attack to defence.

Did anyone catch the Crows v Dees yesterday? Quite a lot being made of Vince's job on Dangerfield, which I thought was a good one. It was a lesson that you need a real team effort to help break a tag and flying the flag (legally) for your team remains important.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

The fat lady is warming up to sing the final tune of Geelong's dominance if they drop this one to the Suns at home

Wow Fremantle look absolutely primed at the moment, giving WCE a bath in the Derby

The end is coming very quickly. They should be putting GC to the sword.

If the Suns can't get it done today they're the softest bunch of footballers I've ever seen.

            No Hawkins, Bartel, Stokes, Mackey.

            It's basically Selwood v Suns.

On track to give up 200+ points at home... Makes me feel a little better about our game. Not much, but some.

They are just so much better it's not funny. It's car crash sort of stuff.

Unless everything changes and quickly you'd think they're competing with Carlton and St Kilda for the spoon.

Could be some Suns players up for grabs at the end of the season. Wouldn't mind one of their big blokes.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                        Agreed.

Should we be surprised ie. Clayton's recruiting and his obsession with outside soft skilled players?

Looks like Geelong will only have 19 fit men in last quarter. Gold Coast 17 pts behind

I am a bit. Normally his teams can at least beat up on some bad teams and win some here and there against the middle of the road, they just get slaughtered by the top teams. Although he's got very very few selections right in the last decade.

I just really didn't see GC going backwards at the rate they have. It's their 5th year and they should be looking to push top 4 yet they're barely competitive.
