    Re: Round 10 Discussion

This is a really good contest but WOW both of these teams just look horrific in isolation. Some of the goals they've missed have been farcical.

Brodie Smith has gone from the best kick in the league to a median one in the space of two concussions.

I'm loving what James Hird is doing for the Bombres at present. 64 points down at the middle of the third quarter on prime time television.

      Fantastic.
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

              Bad news for Essendon.

They just got pummelled, yet the team they rolled out today was on ave 25y 4m old, with 95 games experience. And that's WITHOUT Dustin Fletcher or Jobe playing!

Their list profile suggests they should be genuine contenders, and topping up with the likes of Cooney and Chapman (and Goddard to an extent) proves they thought they were close.

              Haha.

Higgins seems to be having an impact again. Now that we play a more team defensive structure rather than relying on individuals cracking in he'd probably e of value to us with his finishing class and polish.

North get a badly needed win. Can Crocker straighten then up?

I wonder if adding the likes of Cooney and Gwilt etc was around the speculation that many of their senior listed players would miss games this season? Either way it's not a good sign for them. Hird has actually mentioned they need more senior experience as well so I'm not sure he see's it as an issue.

Clearly they have overrated their list but maybe the speculation of WADA now hanging over them is dragging them down.

Crocker should be formally appointed to a 3 year contract before departing the airport tonight.

If they were winning, he'd say it has galvanised the team.

                          Fact is, they're no good.

He's so well practised at using WADA as the reason for any of their shortcomings now I wonder if he'll ever stop, even if they get cleared.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

I was impressed with Brayshaw against us, but he has been really really good today.

Geez Melbourne's disposal and decision making is ordinary. The only reason we got close to them a few weeks ago was because of their mistakes. Clean that area up and they'll see more Ws on the board.
