Don't remember his chicken wing tackle?

      Oh yeah. That one.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Looks like we played Geelong back into form last week. They are towelling up the Giants in Canberra.

Little Gazza's horror season has continued in Adelaide. Subbed out at 1/4 time with a knee injury. Suns have been competitive but Crows should win from here.

Surely Scott wouldn't play Boomer as a sub tonight, on the night of his 400th. Scott has been consistently very poor for North, and Harvey consistently very good. Overall, though, given the context and moment, this would be the worst of Scott's ignominious record.

To quote former great David King:

“I think that it would be extremely disappointing, I’d be shattered, I’d actually be gutted as a Kangaroos supporter (if he left),” King said.

I will be watching to see how this plays out.

I think if Scott was to continue to malign Harvey, and you guys continue to put in sub-par performances and defy expectations placed upon the team both internally and externally, he'll find himself out of a senior coaching job. It's a precarious time for him.
              TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

                Re: Round 17 Discussion

I just saw Gil Gil on the TV lamenting the performance of Carlton last night, with the context of the story being he was unhappy with their performance on such a big stage.

It's great the AFL is being made to look foolish due to their stupid fixturing. The Blues are playing poorly, the coach - prone to creating controversy and theatre prior to and after big Friday night games - who started the year with them has been sacked and the AFL has been faced with continued pathetic contests (or lack thereof) to start seven rounds of football.

What a stupid and contrived organisation. As they operate in a captive market they don't realise the hubris of their own behaviour and how they're turning their product offering to crap (much like the major supermarket chains).
                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

He's really making himself look foolish taking such a strong stand when it should be a celebration for the club. He trying to look strong and uncompromising, but really it reminds me of his playing days, a faux hard man.

He's got three years left hasn't he? He's a protected species with Brayshaw and the board. Can you imagine if Macca did that with Johno if he got to 400 games???

I think our high tackling game style matches up well against them. If they are given time and space their skills will cut you to ribbons

If his contract didn't have holes in it I'd be very much surprised.

Some of the free kicks paid in the ruck contests around the ground in this Essendon/Port game are horrendous. I legitimately have no idea what the reasoning was
