If you can watch a game live no matter where you are, I can see the ground attendances dropping.
I don't get it, personally, you get so much more of a view at the game. You can see the whole gameplan in place, not just the ball carrier/whatever has caught the commentators attention.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I find it very frustrating watching on tv, and never feel like I have a great idea of what is happening strategically.

As a result, when watching on tv I tend to carry on like a lunatic - whereas it takes me far more to fire up when at the game where you can see things unfolding.

For me the game day experience does give a much better view of what is happening.

Yet you still miss some things that you get from the TV coverage.
I really enjoy going to the game and then watching the replay.

That has been fun this year.

I wanted to kick the TV in during the 3rd quarter against Geelong.

I like that there is coverage at the ground on the scoreboards too. Being short sighted sometimes I can't get a proper view of what's happening 100 metres away so watching on the screen can be handy.
Sometimes it disorienting though if you think the ball is at the other end of the ground and you look down its at actually right in front if you!

Mmmm. TV, smashed windows, car roofs, garage doors, radios have all fallen victim to bulldog related random violence on my part.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
