    Premiership Drought Tiggy

    You're it St Kilda.
Rocket Science: the epitaph for the Beveridge era - whenever it ends - reading 'Here lies a team that could beat anyone on its day, but seldom did when it mattered most'. 15/7/2023

Saints called barley so they're safe.

So we tagged Melbourne instead (2 years longer)

But I'd like the Saints to win one. Screw Melbourne.

Another one for us first then they can have a turn.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Two women at work are St Kilda fans. I said nothing but took great delight in listening to one today, saying "Oh I'd just like to see a premiership before I die!"...

I don't have to say that anymore - but how great would another one be?

Well, one for starters! I'm right with Bevo's idea of sustained success though!

If all goes to plan people will be saying Hawthorn 80s, Brisbane 00s, Hawthorn early teens or Dogs late teens? All options for the great modern day eras.

                      Re: Premiership Drought Tiggy

During shocktober - Peter Gordon said that the club should realistically be looking to play finals for most of the next 10 years.

We are 2 from 2 so far. With the amount of highly talented 18-24 year olds on our list - you would expect we will play finals for most of the next 8. It might be 'reaching for the stars' - but 10 successive finals series would be magic.

10 successive finals series, gives you a real chance to win 2 or 3 flags.

                      Our 2020 team would have star players around the following ages;

                      Bontempelli - 25
                      T.Boyd - 25
                      Stringer - 26
                      Macrae 26
                      Dahl - 28
                      Daniel - 24
                      Hunter - 25
                      JJ - 27

With players like McLean & Dunkley being possible stars also.

Its a great core. Roughy will be 29 - and at his peak as a ruckman during 2018-2021.
