Young family, at only 40 years old. Sad story and I wish nothing but the best for his family.

                Just too young.

He was a terrific player at either end of the ground. A real power athlete

I coached with Dale at the Western Jets for a couple of seasons. He went out of his way to welcome myself and my family to Melbourne (as did a few members on this board) when we moved across and I genuinely don't know how things would have been without the support of Dale and Kellie. Our daughters were about the same age and spent ages playing together - coaches families getting dragged to u18 games is actually married life comedy when you think about it...I just have no words for any of this.

Terrific footballer - I think he's in the Prahran Team of the Century for his time in the VFA, awesome coach (a drill I use to this day is called the 'Taps Transition Drill' in his honour - it's all about 2-way running and his favourite thing in the world - running defenders changing the game by taking grass ball in hand), great fella...gonna miss him.

                      RIP Taps.

                        How awful.

Not that it's relevant really in context of the conversation but I always thought he was a terrific player.

Really sad to hear that mate - taken way to young. Hopefully the Taps Transition Drill lives for many generations to come!

Awful news on all fronts. You wonder how much concussion / cte has to play in a lot of these cases.

Sorry to hear you lost a mate MJP.

Can't imagine the grief the family is going through atm with now the passing of Adam. Devastating for the football community.
