    AFL Reserves

It's time for the AFL to stop fluffing around and bring back the reserve completion and have them as a curtain raiser to the main game.
The VFL and it's lopsided byes must have an effect on player management to AFL sides. Increase the list do away with the sub but be allowed to use an emergency listed player if needed.

There absolutely needs to be something better than the current disaster.

The players need to be playing as consistently as the senior side.

Have a bye when the senior team has the bye and play when the senior team plays.

With 21 VFL teams there really is only a need for 1 bye for each team

With an additional bye scheduled when the AFL team has the bye.

There should definitely be a reserves comp, but I don't think each and every game should have a curtain raiser. The grounds are OK for now, but Melbourne's winter isn't great for turf growing and that's where the bulk of the clubs are located, so the AFL needs to be smart about how it manages them.

With the same rules, interpretations, umpires and players all skipping to the same beat, there's a lot of upside in how the game is umpired and played. There should also be integrity in the lower competitions without interference from the AFL itself. There's also enough money in the game to make it happen.
      TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
