      This phenomenon has also been observed when running into an open goal. Don't even think about running too far between the arcs though. If you show any hesitation or indecision this will count as a deduction from your allowed distance.

        The stupid thing is all those examples are obvious, non controversial frees. No examples where the player has kicked straight up the line and the ball has done a leg break over the boundary or punching the ball away from an opponent (Dale v Collingwood). Although it was nice of them to confirm Daicos should have been pinging according to their own example.
