Is Round 4 "Dare to Dream" Round?

#1: Neither Essendon nor Hawthorn can win...this is a WIN!!
#2: One out of Carlton and Collingwood simply MUST LOSE. I actually have no idea what I would prefer but either way, a WIN.
#3: One out of Melbourne and Geelong MUST LOSE. I would 100% prefer it was Geelong who lost...unlikely it might be but if they are 1-3 that is a MASSIVE WIN.
#4: Could North bounce back and beat Sydney in Melbourne? Maybe? I would love it if they lost again.
#5: The Bulldogs play in Perth. I mean, it's at the worlds most annoying venue but at least I can go. Another Win.

After getting home from work on Saturday to find quality games like 'Richmond / Saints' and 'Melbourne/Gold Coast' at least I can cheer for bad things to happen...

As an aside, it's 34-degrees again in Perth today and we had a couple of days over 40 last week. It's gonna be HOT on Sunday.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

2 out of our 3 games have been in the Marvel hothouse so we should be acclimatised to the heat.

      Forecast is 28 for Sunday.

I think we have a real chance against Freo. I don't think they are playing that well. Their two big full forwards will be up against Lobb and Jones, so should be a good contest. We need Naughton to find some form and our mids have to be on song, Serong is a very good player and could cut us up, so need to quell him. Does Harmnes run with him like he did with Cripps in the first half?

Defensive tag on Pearce (JOD), Cox is quality and probably blankets Naughton but gives up 6+ inches if he goes to Sam Darcy, Luke Ryan is great until he has to actually defend.

I actually like Amiss and think he flies under the radar a bit, so they definitely have two KPFs that require attention. Khamis tot he rescue as that intercepting third guy again.

They will get O'Meara back this week I imagine, he was good in the first round when I saw him.

I hope Carlton lose. The meltdowns online are getting funnier with every week.

They've got West Coast round 5 and North round 6, losing those two back to back might even be better than the Richmond one...

I'd prefer to see Carlton beat Collingwood (would love to see a Pies meltdown) then see Carlton lose to West Coast and North back to back.

Talked to a couple of Magpies supporters yesterday who are normally bullish of their chances and both expressed some concerns with this game

                      They sound like smart supporters.

In the last two weeks Carlton have lost to Hawthorn and us who pretty much everyone agrees are two sides playing very well - or at least in a very 'committed' style - right now. They lost one game by 3-goals and the other by 2. Curnow is still building into it and I would go so far as to say if he was a Bulldogs player he wouldn't be playing yet and still in a training build up but...

That said, I doubt that they get another 5-pack out of Kemp and goals will be a concern...they are defending very well.

Carlton are missing Mckay more then they realise , with Curnow back and still building , having McKays presence is vital to their structure , without him it allows teams to concentrate on stoping Curnow , Mckay is that lead up forward that they need and without him their midfield tend to bomb the ball into their forward line in the hope Curnow grabs it , and to compond matters their midfield apart from Cripps has been average at best , they have lost the drive Acres was providing previously , Walsh is down , and as mjp has said Kemp is not gonna kick 5 every week , the reason they have been in games so far this season is because of their backline , Weitering is in AA form and Silvagni last week was very solid , and of course DeKoning is arguably the best ruckman going around this season . i think they struggle again aganist Collingwood , nothing better then seeing thoes Blue Bloods struggling.
