          Aaron Francis played 5 games for the season and 11 in the VFL. One of those five games he got 7 touches for the match.

            I'm not sure there's a more meaningless award in international sport than this.

              It has the potential to be a great award. What I hate is the judges involved and the method of picking the best player each week. It has major flaws.

                Yeah it's a great concept but just a ridiculous award. Francis getting a vote is just incredible

                  Agree completely. There are so many possibilities using the coaches votes and chamionship data and instead they pick a subjective method chosen by a bunch of journalists and ex players! Has the potential to be great.
