Surely Carlton lose this marquee game for beating up on the perennially rubbish Norf. I think Coburg are a more suitable match up next season.

Has a side coughed up more goals from errant handballs right in front of goals? So many soft goals conceded.

Absolutely putrid from NMFC today. They have made a mockery of Good Friday.

North's big reputation midfield have absolutely no interest in defending when they don't win the ball. I know guys like Corr are spuds but it would be a nighrmare defending such clean and easy ball time and again.

You have to wonder when the AFEL consider replacing North. They're horrific.

I'd be all for a 'winner stays on' concept between us, Saints, Blues and Norf.

I still find it rubbish that we got canned for no reason and got nothing as a replacement.

I like Wardlaw even if he's a bit messy. Can we throw Marra money at him?

LDU is so overrated, Simpkin is bog average, and the other big name kids look like 'neat players' but nothing more.

Can't fault Wardlaws attack on the footy but his ball use is shite, he's like a much less skilled version of Liam Picken.
Funny that you link Marra money with Wardlaw as I've heard some not so great things about Wardlaw's after hours activity from kids of a similar age that I work with.

Eagles fluffed their lines in the last quarter, Essendon very lucky to win.

Better game tonight compared to North and Carlton. West coast unlucky not to win played better as Essendon get the points.

I went to the VFL game today between Williamstown and Coburg at Willy and got in for the 2nd half.

                    Coburg played very well.

Willy kicked 7 goals in the final term but it was too late.

North Melbourne just have an inability to defend and if you want to be a good team you have to be good defensively.

Most premiership sides are underpinned by a strong defence.

They are in some great form for the Pies. Started the season really well.

The older players for them stepping up.

Whether they keep it going time will tell.

North fans seem to think he out of there as soon as his contract is up. The kid can certainly play

Was thinking the same thing. Sitting ducks behind centre at Arden Street.

I heard Todd Viney on ABC radio leading into the game and he said (after being questioned about something like 21/28 games over the last whatever years conceding 100 points) culture comes first, then game plan and things like defending and stopping the opposition, and then scoring. Fine, whatever.

But, how ****ed was the culture to begin with at that place, seriously? Don't results help build culture? He did say they're not where they want to be on that front, this year, so I guess that's something. I'd not be surprised if development resources and general resources aren't flash there. They have something like eight players picked in the top 13 over the last five years lining up weekly, with more to come (and after another few from within that bracket departing).
                          TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Clarkson under pressure? They put everything into the first few weeks, now are getting pumped regularly.
                            send them to Tassy.
