The wank fest over Baz. Has there ever been a more hyped footballer?

It really is frustrating to hear how the media has rallied around him but he is playing some good football.

Insufficient intent - the most rubbish rule EVER. The ball is not round and the umpires don't have common sense. Any call for last possession is ruining the fabric of the game which has already been dented by a change made by ex footballers who played in the 80s.

I'm just on a Bulldogs soapbox.

All the losses in close games are really getting me. I don't understand what the problem actually is but when I sat there watching that stupid King/Montagna show last night and they said "The Bulldogs know who they are" (in terms of style of play), well...we sure as hell don't know:

          1. How to score a goal when the pressure is on.
          2. How to STOP a goal when the pressure is on.

All the comments about how good we are (or finals, or top 4 or whatever) just need to be set aside until we can actually win a game - just one would do - against one of the contenders (or in fact, against ANYONE) when scores are within 2-kicks and there is < 10 mins to play.

Right now - we can't do it. I'm sick of it.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

I agree that the hype we have around us even after the 5 losses is a little hard to understand
Yes we are playing some good football but as Mantis is pointed the other day we do desperately need a scalp.
In some ways I'd prefer it if we were copping a bit more heat from the media

I felt sorry for Mitch Duncan, coming up to play his 300th and it's treated like an afterthought.

No doubt he's getting a heap of the ball, but I don't think there's a heap of substance(don't excuse the pun) to his possessions. Seems to just kick it as far as he can most of the time.

What's everyone's take on Cornes trying to ambush Bevo on Thursday night?
Surely the AFL need to tell to not poke the bear.

Just trying to get a reaction out of him. Thought Bevo behaved fine and gave nothing in the post match presser. It's all rubbish at the end of the day.

I'm glad for the Ross Lyon v the Suns spat which is far more interesting than the Bevo v Cornes non-event.
