    There are no choices in the matter in my family when it comes to footy. Barracking for the bulldogs is what we do. Letting your kids choose another team, means you miss out on the bond of going to the footy together as tradition and having that shared interest/passion. Fine for people not passionate in the footy and who don’t go to games - but for those of us whose world stops when the bulldogs are playing - its good to have 3 and sometimes 4 generations at the footy sharing the experience.

      I don't have any kids, but my huge and beloved black cat (run over last year) was a big Tigers fan.

      No point in denying him food, as he would have ripped me to shreds. In fact he did anyway, even when I did feed him.
