Most ladder predictors I have seen have the Hawks as the team that will miss. When T&T gets his root thread powering up, they definitely need to be a team we root against at all costs.
They have:
Carlton (H-MCG)
Adelaide (A)
Collingwood (H-MCG)
Melbourne (H-MCG)
Brisbane (A)
You could easily see them win all five and you could easily see them lose all five. At a minimum we need Adelaide, Collingwood and Brisbane to do their thing and then our season is in our hands (5 wins needed).
EDIT: Sam Docherty plays his last game against the Hawks this week. Hopefully those pea hearts can turn up for him and get an upset over the Hawks.👍 1Comment

Don't we just have to take care of business...the Hawks do have recent history of getting on a roll and could win all 5...what would that mean.
I love all of you guys but holy hell if we start wondering what's gonna happen when Hawthorn play Collingwood in 3-weeks time we're not gonna enjoy the footy being played right in front of us.What should I tell her? She's going to ask.👍 1Comment

Besides, we could win all five and still miss.
Sifting through the machinations and knowing who to root for is critical. It can also add interest to games with two teams you hate and otherwise not find any joy in watching (like Collingwood v Hawthorn).Comment

Lighten up mate, it was a slow Tuesday and clutching at straws can be therapeutic while nervously counting down to the next bounce.

I don’t understand how knowing who to root for is critical btw. What should I tell her? She's going to ask.Comment

Hawthorn are a clear #1 in the most hated bunch of knobs in the AFL.
they are playing Carlton and a random bad haircut hawk kicks a goal and carries on like he’s sunk a 30ft put on a sunday at Augusta to win the masters.
give me a spell.😂 1Comment
