                        Freo have a loss or two coming for them. They’ve been decidedly average for big chunks of the last month but have fallen over the line.
                        Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

                                        Freo got lucky.

                                        They have had some lucky wins against some bottomed teams. North, Saints and now Port.

                                                That makes it six of Freo’s last nine wins coming by 13 points or less, plus the comeback against Carlton which felt a lot closer than it was.

                                                    Sweet's shot at goal was woeful. The mistakes and errors with handball and kicking from Port really let them down - couldn't bloody hold on for less than two minutes
