Running men: Keeping track of your club's speedsters

    Team distance: 2538.6km

    Distance kings
    1. Lachie Hunter 14.8km/h
    2. Lewis Young 14.5
    3. Josh Dunkley 13.8

It should come as no surprise Hunter is the hardest runner at the Whitten Oval, with the ball-magnet seemingly at every contest and averaging a second-best 28.6 possessions a game for the Dogs. Second-year key defender Lewis Young is a surprise packet in second place in the endurance stakes.

    Speedsters
    1. Jason Johannisen 33.6km/h
    2. Ed Richards 33.1
    3. Hayden Crozier 33.0

Johannisen has been the fastest player on the Dogs' list since they drafted the South African-born flyer in 2011, but he now faces a challenge to retain that title with defensive playmakers Richards and Crozier adding much-needed pace to the team this season.

For somebody with pace, Crozier really doesn't use it.

Interesting stats . Wouldn't have thought Dunkley was anywhere near it when you look at Dahlhaus and Macrae.
Just shows what the club sees and what fans see Can be so far apart.

He sprints to and from the interchange bench.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'm gonna stick with my idea of Crozier being miscast this year out of necessity; Biggs turning into a pumpkin has really forced his hand.

Having said that, he has been really bad.

Which one has been really bad?

Both of them. Most of them in fact.

Amazing to see Majak Daw as the fastest recorded player this season to to date

If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
