North's skills let them down

The two 50 metres in the last quarter to Adelaide, due to the Stand rule, were a joke - one resulted in a goa. AFL are a joke

Great result by Port last night and a Melbourne win would have shaken things up a bit.

Melbourne just couldn't close it out. Had brief visions of 4th.

So the lions going 0.8 to start the game hasn't stopped them from going ahead.

I don't see our inaccurate in the 1st quarter as any sort of reason for losing.

It will always be the shitting of the bed in the 2nd quarter. The one we've seen over and over.

There are so many tough bastard defenders in this game tonight. Players like Lester, Hardwick, Starcevich, who are all tough and can also defend when needed - we don't have any of these tough utility type defenders who can do a job.

That was a fantastic win tonight - they have a heap of key injuries and found a way against a tough opponent. Should have won by more to be honest.

I hope they can go back-to-back. I couldn't handle a Bailey Smith flag or a filth one

We had the men's dept down back - all tough as nails and unrelenting in their pressure and ability to defend one-on-one. And we had a makeshift forward line full of assorted hard-nuts, who were able to cobble together winning scores every week in September against more talented and better credentialed teams.

Basically the opposite of what we currently have.
