That is a big win away from home and in front of 57,000 mostly Freo supporters.
You can have all the game plans you want, but you must have talent on every line and Suns have thatFFC: Established 1883

That's absolutely nuts.
Feel for the Freo guy who kept hold of Swallow because he didn't know for sure the ball was free and Swallow would have milked it anyway, genuine no win situation.
Great outcome for Swallow. Disappointed Hardwick got the win, he's the pits.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.👍 1Comment

Happy for the Suns. Not for Dimma.
But Dimma is a hard man. Plenty of those types have had a lot of success as coaches.Comment

Imagine having a Pearce like player patrolling our backline, able to step up and dominate the air like he did in the second half if not keeping someone quiet.
Thought Jackson should have pulled in a few more marks around the ground to make things a bit easier for Fremantle (albeit he was a bit stiff on one in the pocket in the last) when they were putting huge pressure on GCS's ball use. A bit like Timmy English, his effectiveness is drastically reduced when he's not clean above his head.
What a difference players willing to pressure when without the footy make. We're a good contested side but tend to get found out when the whips are cracking because we're see ball get ball first, and tend to go bees to a honey pot without a thought of what might happen if we don't get our hands on it. When we were at our best last year we were awesome in winning second possession after a contest, not sure how we went with that this year but it just seemed that if we didn't win it first go we weren't likely to win it back or keep up on the spread. The good sides burn us here.
I had to go out to an early dinner during the second half of the GWS vs. Hawks game. I thought it was only us capable of having so many goals kicked in a row against us in big games!Just shows that a Plan B takes a while to kick in, even if it's really obvious what's going wrong with GWS clearly needing to change ball movement after the first quarter but not being able to get it right for a while, with the Hawks then taking a while to adjust on field to the executed change.

Yep. Absolute star.
A bit like Pavlich, if that guy was Melbourne based and playing for a big club that had some genuine success, he'd be talked about in the same breath as the likes of Hird and Dangerfield (let's not think about how the Bont would be talked about if he played at a big Melbourne club.....or Chris Grant......I can feel a rant coming!).TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.👍 3Comment

It's actually a really poor loss by Freo. They were way too conservative with their ball movement in the first 3 qtrs. Pearce, Brayshaw and Young nearly saved their arse in the last qtr but they had too many non-contributors. Dimma smashed Longmuir in tbe box tonight.
They badly missed Switkowski tonight as well."Look at me mate. Look at me. I'm flyin'"👍 1Comment

Having said that, I'm so far out of touch with what coaches actually do........so it's just spit balling.
As for Fremantle, after their performance against us I thought they had something huge to deliver this week and beyond. They'll be filthy about tonight.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment
