As it the best and fairest does Smith's giving the finger to fans paint a nice picture of fairest. We won't be in it as Bont was our best player and missed too many games as for other teams couldn't give a brass razoo.
Ed started well but faded so I don't think he will get there.

Don't understand all the fuss over an award voted on by umpires. What a strange league.

Seeing as he did such an enthusiastic job umpiring the game on the weekend, Nick Daicos would have to be a certainty.

I would love to see him 2 votes up at the end of R24 and for Noah Anderson to scoot past him with 3 votes against Essendon in that glorified practice match to finish the season.

I'd think Anderson and Rowell could cancel each other out.
Dawson might go close but Daicos should win it.

Top 3 should be very close, maybe even a two way tie. Daicos, Dawson, Anderson, Rowell, McCluggage. Mr ShoutyMcShoutFace top 5, missed a few games probably the difference. J. Cameron might poll well for a FF and Max Holmes should duel with Mr Shouty too.

I think Ed will be higher than predicted but definitely top 10. Would've got quite a few two's, and some ones in losing games. Libba would feature early rounds and Bont and Dale likely cancel each other out later although Bont top 6-7 wouldn't surprise me, hope so.
Would like to see a few first time votes for Davidson, Freijah probably gets a nod for 2 or 3 rounds. Bramble might score one for that blinder he played v Sydney. Darcy for a couple too.

Weird award, rarely translates to the most deserving player as we here well know.

Wouldn't hate seeing Rowell win but geez, some very questionable votes, he received 3 votes against us yet was the 31st ranked player that night with 20 disposals, 2 tackles and a goal, Libba 35 and 10 tackles, whilst having 16 disposals and 10 clangers v the Swans - 3 votes! Wow!
