I am really happy for Darcy Fort . Real Journeyman. VFL with Werribee, then with us at Footscray in 2014.
Recruited by Geelong in 2018 as pick 68, and could not crack it there behind Stanley, Zac smith and Blicavs. Went to Brisbane and he now has 2 premierships.
53 games for 2 premiership is extraordinary.

When I was a kid, I'm 76 now, my next door neighbour, who was a couple of years older than me, was a Fitzroy supporter. Growing up in Braybrook, he was the only Fitzroy supporter I ever met. I always had a soft spot for Fitzroy; they were battlers, just like us. So I am very happy with the Lions win. Geelong have caused us so much pain over the years and I have been an eye witness to much of it.

Cal Ah Chee is a bloody good footballer. Last year kicks four goals in the GF, this year steps up as a defensive winger and HB.

Kudos to Charlie Cameron, looked finished more often than not this season and even during the first quarter today. Kicks four goals when the game was still up for grabs.

A couple of observations.
As a defender you don't need to be 200cm tall to play on the oppositions key forwards often described as "Gorillas" and be effective.
Brisbane have a great blend of youngsters and experienced players and a lot of their youngsters performed brilliantly over the finals.
