This is without bias but man is the quality of finals post 2016 deplorable. Just think back to the games played in 2016 and prior. The last two seasons are shocking

My only problem with Jimmy is that his voice is shot. As far as actual relevant star quality goes he's a good choice.

Cold Chisel a better choice. Bow River would be unbelievable.

Would also love ACDC or Midnight Oil, but maybe that's a bridge too far.

You know Barnesy is Cold Chisel’s lead singer, right? If his voice is shot (which I completely disagree with), he’d be be out in front of Chisel with it. He’ll put on a great show.

My point is that I think Jimmy's voice is shot, but if you're going to have him, then reach further into your pockets and get the whole band. At least then the back and forth vocals might not make him sound so bad.

I like Jimmy plenty. But have you heard him sing lately? There's no doubt he'll "put on a great show (effort has never been his letdown)", but his voice is shot. Disagree if you like, but you'll be wrong.

Pies took their opportunities early in the last quarter, Giants didn’t.

Cameron, Greene, Lobb, Shiel very poor for the Giants.

My heart goes out to you GWS. Sitting at the 2016 prelim with your stupid newspaper front cover, ‘it’s our time’. Well it’s still not your time; see you in 2019 less Dylan Shiel after another failed finals despite being gifted the money and players.

I imagine Gryphone & Lids will go down a level next year, Shiel and maybe more gone. Not looking great you plastic nothings.
