Night time finals and home and away games I’m absolutely fine with but not for the Grand Final.

Looks like it’s staying during the day.

Some players had a fair point - less time to celebrate if you win.

I don't get this - less time until when? The next season? The players have no trouble celebrating continuously for the next few days, and I am pretty sure the club celebrated 2016 well into the 2017 season.

The main reason I am in favour of starting the Grand Final latter in the day eg around 5pm is that these days Saturday is a normal working day for a lot of society, and even if people aren't working, it gives them more time to organize their day around the game.

Interesting take on the issue from Wilson:

                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Oh look we're getting softened up for a mid-season trade period too.

Traditionalist. Keep it the same. With so many other things changing for the sake of it let's keep the Grand Final at 2.30pm. I haven't seen one argument to convince me otherwise.
