We finished 4th overall for team votes on 81. Brisbane finished first on 90.

We got a massive amount of votes for 12 wins. Essendon also had 12 wins and only got 58 votes.

Too true. One of only a handful of players that I like from another club. Would look mighty fine in the red, white and blue.

Given the way midfielders dominate the Brownlow you have to wonder why clubs aren't employing taggers more frequently

I don't see why coaches would care who the umpires think the best or most influential players are. Especially given the Brownlow medalist's team didn't make finals
