Re: Twenty years at Docklands
I remember the first time we played there. Dad said to me 'there are kids sitting next to us so behave" First contest Paul Hudson looks the other way rather taking any body contact and the little girl (maybe 10 years old) yells out "You're *!*!*!*!ing kidding me you weak *!*!*!*! Hudson" Dad just rolled his eyes and said "go for it"They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them. -

A new wave stadium that we committed to. It has been a poisoned chalice at times but we have benefitted from its playing conditions. Spectators however have lost the charm, the community feeling and the ground level view of our great game. Good dunny access but you can't make the place your own like the Whitten oval.Footscray Football Republic.Comment

Re: Twenty years at Docklands
I really don't understand how one would think Captain Pisshead threatening a player is better than Chris Grant's effort against said pisshead, but that's just how the AFL is I suppose.
it's a fantastic ground to watch footy at. I used to get seats centre wing in the Medallion Club quite often through work and it was such a good vantage point to view the game from. When the ground is full the atmosphere can be amazing.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment
