Very Melbourney loss
Look like winning , and not get it done
In fairness on the first half Brisbane should have been further up
In the end a mature win for Brisbane
Brisbane’s forward line is a concern for me in big games

It's interesting, both teams wasted a lot of opportunities. Melbourne were in it up to their eyeballs and should have gotten level at least in the end.

Doesn't mean he can't be a generational player though.

To a point you keep banging on about, there's a lot of value, recruiters just won't or can't see it in certain players and rely on "credentials" too often.

Essendon are easily the worst 5-2 team in living memory.

Adelaide just had to shoot fish in a barrel and didn't even know how to fire the gun. Seriously, they had one easy job.

I was extra pissed because I thought the Bombers hanging on would mean Bomberblitz wouldn't be melting down. I thought I'd do a quick check anyway and who was I kidding?

Just a few samples:

Pendlebury reads the game so well. It's as if he's operating in his own time zone, ten seconds in advance of mere mortals. His basketball background enables him to envision the ground as a series of basketball courts and he is able to picture where every player is positioned on eash court SIMULTANEOUSLY! - and, at every moment of the game. This hyper vision capability allows him to pass the ball perfectly by hand or foot often without even bothering to look because he just KNOWS his team mate is going to arrive in the precise spot to take delivery of the ball. Remarkable really. He is a SPECIAL player.
Of course he also has the ability to SLOW DOWN the reactions of his opponents. It is a little known fact that he developed this skill during the 2010 off season. Rather than join team mates at a high altitude training camp in Colorado, Pendles spent a month living alongside a Tibetan lama, The Venerable Lobsang Rampasang, in a cave on the Changtang Plateua in Ladakh. Here he refined his remarkable basketball-inspired powers. So now we have Pendles-San - the perfect embodiment of Western physicality and Eastern mysticism. Om! Om! Om! Boom Shankar!

WC look like a scary proposition once again. Aerial strength is our Achilles heal and they have it in spades, plus a ruckman who will just physically dominate English.

Yep, 4 pronged key forward set up with Allen and Waterman very mobile for their size (Allen also pinch hits in the ruck). Nic Nat elite at stoppages. And then McGovern and Barrass rebound marking most F50 long kicks. That's not to mention their already strong midfield which added Tim Kelly to it this season. And they are at home for most of the rest of the season. They are the #1 seed at the moment.
