How many players have publicly had mental health issues in the AFL and been anything close to good since? Mitch Clark is probably the best example (and quite similiar to Hogan, highly rated, moved clubs, had the issues, moved clubs again) and he was serviceable at best in his time at Geelong iirc.

I think the price very much reflects the likelihood that he will be a bit part player at best.

Even more recently Jack Steven who they are looking at paying out. It's a huge risk.

Hahaha. Adelaide just keep on stinking it up.

I heard a snippet on the radio where they gave Crouch a bit of a backhander as justification why they wouldn't match, mentioning how few games he manages to play each season on average etc.

I hope we are starting to circle the names on their list that we want. There is a fair window of cellar dwelling coming up, it's plundering season for the next few years.

He's not great McKernan, but he's big, experienced and by all reports a great bloke.

Sounds familiar when I write it out like that. We should recruit Jackson Trengove to fill that role for us if he's available.

I'm afraid we'd be shafted in an internal trade for JT. They'd want Gowers or something and I'm not willing to part with Billy under any circumstances.
