mjp no need to be skeptical of Warner due to his employer. He has previously had his accreditation taken away by the AFL for not following the company line. I also believe he has had a dust up with Robbo in view of all and sundry.
More of an In Bruges guy?

      Have made a start.

Definitely an interesting read. I’m sure it’s a bit one sided but there’s many good issues raised and points made throughout. Looking forward to the Talia chapter.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?

Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I have to admit, at the time I really put this in the 'who cares' category.

But reading the book - and have read 15 chapters of the AFL manipulating investigations to suit the outcome they wanted - it is a bit hard to swallow what happened. Not to the point of 'Adelaide need to hand the win over' but certainly 'Adelaide and the players involved need to be penalised'.

I have a hard time understanding how the coaches at Adelaide were provided with information they 100% KNEW they shouldn't have and seemingly decided it was still OK to use it...there should have been fines and suspensions handed out (minimum).

As Warner said on his podcast last week, the problem Bevo has is that he isn't "house trained" - he will go outside what the AFL want if he believes he is right...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

He and Robbo seem quite close on the podcast they do together. Robinson certainly comes across well in this book - not so the likes of Wilson.
