They penalise that for time wasting and that's fine, but they never penalise time wasting when players remonstrate or not give the ball back to the opposition after an infringement and it slows the game down.

So all in all another inconsistency that doesn't really make sense.

I have no issue with the adjudication; the rule though I do.

Was there any time wasted?

There's 500 footballs around the boundary.

I don't think you'll find a more cursed few days of footy than then what we've just copped. Can only hope there is some sort of karmic rebalancing about to occur.

I’d rather have played a top 4 team and lost by 2 points after a strong arm wrestle, than play a top 4 team and give up a 42 point advantage….

Cats would be filthy, and off to Port they go.

I'm positive today that was tongue in cheek.

But when I see Melbourne, a team we beat not long ago take full advantage of this open season it does feel like a massive missed opportunity.

But, beating the Bummers could make it all worthwhile.

Ok, so what’s our best path to the GF now the 8 is pretty much locked…
For mine we need to get Melb and Geel to go to the GF
So we need…

Dogs to beat Ess
Bris to beat Melb
Geel to beat Port

We then play Melb and if we win that, face Geel in the prelim.

Gotta keep away from Bris/port home finals.

For mine we need to get Melb and Geel to go to the GF
So we need…

Dogs to beat Ess
Bris to beat Melb
Geel to beat Port

We then play Melb and if we win that, face Geel in the prelim.

Gotta keep away from Bris/port home finals.

Fair chance the prelims are in Perth which helps the Vic teams.

I’m not thinking beyond next week, will take a huge turn around just to overcome the Bombers.

Melbourne beat Brisbane.
Port beat Geelong.

We play Geelong week 2, beat them.

We play Melbourne in the prelim, beat them.

We play Port in the GF, beat them.

4 sides we need to avenge in 4 weeks. This has glory written all over it.

Possibly, though Brisbane are definitely a chance to topple Melbourne at a neutral venue in the form they’re in.

A number of weeks ago beating Essendon, Melbourne, Geelong and Port in four consecutive weeks looked like absolutely no issue. Our best is good enough to get that done. The gap between every sides best footy is not that big. If by some miracle we can recapture some form we could do that.

We should have beaten the Bombers.
We have beaten Melbourne on their home deck.
We should have beaten the Cats (without Stewart we would have won)
We have beaten the Power on their home deck.
