Our form last week looks OK on this Port performance … we were much better than Cats at this point and Port looks like 7 in a row at this stage.
Your right it does but we were lucky enough to kick straight (for a change) making the most of our opportunities. We had 14 scoring shots for the match, geel have 13 half through the 3rd quarter. The old adage, bad kicking is bad football

Yes. Port had six goals on a perfect deck with 10 minutes to play against us. We kicked four goals in first quarter. Cats stuck on three goals. Cats can’t move the ball at all.

Last year all clubs were in hubs and spent plenty of time getting acclimated to Metricon or the Gabba as neutral venues so I could cop that.
This year, it’s being forced upon some clubs while others get to stay home and play in front of their own crowd. If the AFL had any integrity, if one home club can’t get a home final, they should all be held at neutral venues.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
