Decent grab from Toby today using Lewis Young as a step ladder.

That's the second time he's got Lewy. Took one on him in the same game he punted Dahlhaus in the face.

Halfway through the last qtr of the 2006 EF, I might have yelled out to Tarrant, "at least you've got Mad Monday to look forward to", and he might have chucked a wry smile when he heard it.

Since the bye (last 5 games) they have beaten teams in the following ladder position by under 2 goals:

                      15th
                      12th
                      18th
                      16th
                      14th

Winning form is good form, but not sure any of the other potential finalists are concerned about Collingwood.

The cushiest draw of all time.

                          Brilliant vision of Essendon leadership.

I really enjoy a Essendon loss and I've never understood why Dyson Heppell is seen as a good leader and for that matter a good player.
Rutten might not be a bad coach but this team is letting him and their supporters down.

As comrade said, if we were to finish 8th playing Collingwood in week one wouldn't be a bad thing.

Only two teams get to play the West Coast Eagles and North Melbourne twice. Geelong and Adelaide. That is like starting he season zero and four. Amazing that Geelong which finished top four got such a soft draw.
