RIP Neil "Knuckles" Kerley, 88
A giant of S.A. Footy
So glorious on Ch7 footy telecasts.
Sparring partner of E.J during State of Origin.
Famously hugs him at the end of his emotional lap of honour.
Next day at Ch7, I saw Scot Palmer hand him a photo of the hug, and he cried.

Knuckles was a true State of Origin fan. Great mate of Ted. RIP Neil Kerley.

I've been listen to some of his story over the last 2 days, he did some remarkable things and was really linked to our own Ted.

Led an admirable life. To have been associated with so many clubs over his lifetime and to have made so many friends among those he played with and against is an indication of the essence of the man.
